Here is how this works in practice. We give integrated wireless infrastructure from the deep rental base in Bucharest, built over three decades of servicing global shoots, covering wireless mics, IFB and IEM feeds, audio hops, wireless video and lens control as a single set up system. Our team treats RF as one problem rather than several: an upfront survey scans the range at each location, then we allocate frequencies across each department, document the plan and program gear so mics, comms, video and follow focus all coexist without trouble.

Here is the short of it. This matters most on large-scale shoots running dozens of channels at once across many units. We configure antenna distribution and signal paths for trusted coverage on big stages at MediaPro Studios in Buftea and Castel Film Studios as well as wide exterior sets. We plan for the congested range of central Bucharest. Backup units travel with each package and our technicians stay on call through the shoot to re-scan and re-coordinate if the RF picture changes during production.

Here is the breakdown. Radio range in Romania is covered by ANCOM, the National Authority for Management and Rules in Communications, and lawful operation of each wireless system on a production depends on working inside its allocations. Our planning keeps audio, video and control channels compliant and stable. This includes in the busy band over the communist-era boulevards and Belle Epoque districts of Bucharest.

Here is what that looks like on the ground. As an EU member now inside the Schengen Area, Romania lets wireless gear move freely from elsewhere in the EU with no ATA carnet, so extra systems cross-rented from regional houses reach set fast. Non-EU gear still needs a carnet. Productions span sharply different RF environments, from the dense urban core of Bucharest and the medieval streets of UNESCO-listed Sighisoara to the remote Carpathians crossed by the Transfagarasan road and the open UNESCO Danube Delta. The temperate land-based climate adds cold, snowy winters. We protect transmitters and receivers against condensation when moving between heated interiors and sub-zero exteriors.
