Here is how this works in practice. We set up trusted data running workflows with hardware sourced from the deep, mature rental base in Bucharest, built over three decades of servicing global shoots. Our team designs the workflow around your camera formats, post-prod specs and delivery needs, then deploys DIT stations, RAID arrays and backup infrastructure configured for the shoot. Daily on-set work covers secure offload, checksum verification at each stage, dailies transcoding, on-set colour running with show LUTs and CDLs, and ordered handoff to post-prod, with triple-redundant spares stored on independent drives that never travel together.

Here is the short of it. For multi-camera shoots we run parallel offload to keep pace with high data volumes. We scale DIT resources to match the load. Where shoots split between studio stages at MediaPro Studios or Castel Film Studios and distant Transylvanian locations, we keep workflows and naming steady unit to unit. Archive services have LTO tape creation and detailed metadata. Our DITs work closely with camera, VFX and post teams so the digital pipeline runs cleanly from set to site.

Here is the breakdown. Romania is one of Europe's most set up and cost-competitive production destinations. Its geography shapes how data is handled. Multi-day shoots in the remote Carpathians, the UNESCO Danube Delta or the painted monasteries of Bukovina mean footage must be secured on set, often without convenient connectivity, before it travels back to a Bucharest site, so robust on-location backup and clear chain-of-custody records matter.

Here is what that looks like on the ground. As an EU member now inside the Schengen Area, Romania lets data hardware and storage move freely from elsewhere in the EU with no ATA carnet, so extra drives and DIT carts cross-rented from regional houses reach set fast. Non-EU gear still needs a carnet. Mains power runs at 230V/50Hz. We plan stable power for DIT stations, including UPS protection on power packs-fed remote locations. The temperate land-based climate brings cold, snowy winters, so we protect drives and processing hardware against condensation and temperature swings when carts move between heated interiors and sub-zero exteriors.
