Here is how this works in practice. We place gaffers and grips who build and run the lighting and rigging operation of a production across Romania, executing the director of photography's lighting plan and managing camera support, cranes, dollies and rigging. A production may light a controlled stage at Buftea, then move to rig and power a Transylvanian castle interior, a stone-walled medieval church or an exposed Carpathian location far from mains supply. Mains power is 230V/50Hz. Romanian lighting departments are used at planning power packs power and distribution for sites without infrastructure.
