The footage is handed to the main-unit DIT and graded to match the dry coverage. We brief any non-diving actors on safety and breath work, plan dives around the schedule and water conditions, and handle the logistics for open-water shoots, sensitive Danube Delta filming, and precisely controlled studio-tank sequences, building in the redundancy and safety protocols the environment demands.

Here is the breakdown. Romania gives underwater shoots genuine variety inside one country. The Black Sea coast around Constanța, Mamaia, and Eforie gives marine and port settings. The UNESCO Danube Delta, Europe's largest and best-preserved river delta, gives extraordinary freshwater biodiversity. And the rivers flowing out of the Carpathians add inland options. Controlled tank work runs at MediaPro Studios in Buftea, one of the largest studio complexes in Eastern Europe, and at Castel Film Studios near Bucharest, both ideal for actor sequences and precise camera control.

Here is what that looks like on the ground. Sea operations are set up with the Naval Authority. Danube Delta filming needs authorisation from the Danube Delta Reserve Authority.
